In 2019, Laser Saga was honoured to contribute to the prestigious BANAGAS Plant Extension Reveal, an event of national significance attended by the Royal Family of Bahrain. BANAGAS, a key player in Bahrain’s gas sector, was unveiling a critical extension of its gas processing plant. The event required an extraordinary multimedia display to celebrate this milestone and emphasise the importance of the expansion to Bahrain's economy and energy sector.
Laser Saga was contracted to design and execute a cutting-edge laser show that highlighted the newly extended facilities. The centrepiece of this complex project was a synchronized laser beam show combined with precise laser mapping, which outlined the intricate structure of the gas plant.

Laser Outline Mapping
The focal point of this project was the intricate laser mapping of the gas plant's structure. Given the complex industrial design of the plant, our challenge was to develop a laser projection that precisely outlined the various components of the plant. The laser beams created a visual spectacle, highlighting the expansion in a manner that was both celebratory and informative. Our team used high-powered Kvant laser systems to ensure visibility across a vast area.
Synchronized Laser Beam Show:
The reveal event was further elevated by a synchronized laser beam show, designed to captivate the audience. Our engineers meticulously coordinated the beams with the event’s key moments, ensuring that the laser effects aligned perfectly with the music and speeches during the ceremony. The beam show was designed to draw attention to the plant while celebrating the technological advancements and the country's economic growth.
Challenges:
Given the highly industrial nature of the plant, safety was paramount. Our team had to conduct extensive risk assessments to ensure that the laser beams did not interfere with any operational aspects of the plant or pose any safety risks. Furthermore, the environmental conditions, including potential dust and weather changes, were carefully considered during the planning and setup phases.
Results:
The event was a grand success. The laser show not only highlighted the plant extension in an artistic manner but also symbolized the technological progress that the extension represented. The precision of the laser mapping left a lasting impression on the audience, including government dignitaries and industry leaders, while the synchronized beam show added a layer of grandeur befitting the occasion.
Laser Saga's ability to deliver a visually compelling and technically complex laser show for the BANAGAS extension reveal was a testament to our expertise in large-scale industrial events.
