In 2023, under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai launched the ambitious 1 Billion Meals Endowment campaign, a monumental initiative aimed at providing food aid to millions across the globe. As part of this impactful campaign, Laser Saga was honored to contribute by creating a powerful and visually stunning display on one of Dubai’s most iconic landmarks—the DIFC Gates.
Our Role in the Campaign:
Laser Saga’s involvement centered around the setup and execution of a 3D video projection on the facade of the DIFC Gates. Utilizing our powerful and reliable Panasonic PT-DZ31K laser video projectors and Resolume Arena media servers, we have video-mapped the DIFC Gates, transforming the structure into a canvas that conveyed a heartfelt message of gratitude.

Projection Mapping the DIFC Gates:
The facade of the DIFC Gates served as a grand platform to display a continuous stream of thank-you messages to the generous donors who participated in the 1 Billion Meals Endowment initiative. Each night, during the holy month of Ramadan, new messages of thanks were projected, acknowledging and celebrating the contributions of individuals and organizations that made the campaign a success.
The projection ran for over a week, every night offering a fresh tribute to the newest donors. The timing of the campaign, in conjunction with Ramadan—a month of reflection, giving, and charity for Muslims worldwide—added a deeper layer of meaning to the display. The 3D video projection not only highlighted the generosity of the donors but also resonated with the spirit of Ramadan, reinforcing the values of community, empathy, and support.
The use of Panasonic PT-DZ31K laser video projectors allowed us to deliver crisp, vibrant visuals that captured the attention of all who passed by the DIFC Gates. The Resolume Arena media servers enabled seamless content management, ensuring that the thank-you messages were updated and displayed with precision and clarity each night. The entire setup was a testament to how technology can be harnessed to support and amplify the message of a global cause.
